I feel home already, the circle is almost close. For the last day i'll visit the Ireland's most famous prehistoric site. i am very luky cause on Wednesday the entrance is free so i can visit Newgrange and Knowth without paying any ticket. So i first got the free tickets for both the sites at the Visitor centre which is 1 or 2 miles far, then i got in the bus, and once arrived, the guide took us throgh the monuments. Great day.

Well ... what can i say, it has been simply great!I had to fight agaist the unpredictable, spiteful, wet irish weather, but when the sun is shining, this island turns into a very stunning place that you wouldn't never leave. And i have to say that it wasn't so bad with me.

I just want to thank you all guy, to have visited my blog, for help, encouragement and the compliments I received from you.

05/07 Belfast - Drogheda

Long way today! I have to get to Drogheda by evening so i'll be able to visit Newgrange and Knowth in the morning and then get to Dublin by 5 or 6 pm. The landscape isn't so irresistible so i rather concentrate on the road and make it quick even because showers are becoming floods....

 Those two pictures are all i could do before the rain. I got to Drogheda by 5, completely wet. But what can i say, one more or one less....

I'm heaving a great time here, the weather is perfect for a day at the open so i take a drink and i sit on the grass in front of the city hall whatching the final tennis championship on the big screen.

02/07 Ballycastle - Belfast

Well, i have to say that i woke up in very poor conditions. The bench distroyed me, i had like 4 hours sleeping. Anyway i took the first ferry available (8:30 am) to come back to the mainland and i cycled straight down to Belfast cause some friends were waiting there for me.

I can say the Northern Ireland has a very fine coastline too. Today's a bit foggy but very calm and there's no wind that fills my ears so i can clearly listen to the waves crushing on the bay below.

It's 9o clock and nobody around...

That small village is situated on the White park bay, just before Ballintoy.

After a quick second breackfast (nice piece of cake and latte) i come back up to the main road, heading to Carrick a rope bridge. Unfortunately i have no time to cross it cause i need to cacth the ferry in an hour so i'll take few pictures from the cliffs... thanks God the weather is clearing up!

 The island is quite long, nearly 6 miles long and i can only admire the western part at sunset...

 ... but most of all, i can admire the sunset itself.

On the way back home

That's home. As the only hostel on the island was fully booked, i had to choose to spend 39 pounds for a B&B or sleep on the bench. I've chosen the second. Goodnight!
