16/05 Ennyscorthy - Kilemore Quay "The sunburn"

ENNYSCORTHY - KILEMORE QUAY
71,2 km
5:05 h

I woke up very early in the morning, around 5:30 by the thought of my rat felloship, but i belive they did-t show up for all night. I visited Ennyscorthy at dawn when there where nobody around. It was nice despite everything, such as the Ennyscorthy castle, the 1798 visitors centre and the S. Aidan's cathedral, were still closed.

A view of the main bridge that crosses river Slaney with the Ennyscorthy castel on the background.

Next stop was in Wexford, but i didn't get in to the town, so i just had 15 minutes to catch up at the sun and eating two sandwitches for lunch

After Wexford i got to Kilemore Quay, a very very nice village of 417 souls on the south of Co. wexford that definitely worth a visit. Is a fishing village with a small port at the end of the main road. The centre is composed by lovely white houses with original thatch made roofs
